Front Cap Issues

My first post and my first Forest River trailer. I purchased a new 2015 8319 Rockwood in November from an out of state dealer. It was a quick 800 mile trip up and back. When my son came over to see it he noticed a indention in the front cap. So since then I have to talked to the purchase dealer and also one here in town with no direction.
Friday I called Roger Beiler from FR as well as forwarded pics and he says he will look into it.
My question to all the people out there who have had similar front cap problems, what have they done to fix the indention's?

Click on the "Go Advanced" button, then scroll down and click on the "Manage Attachments" button. That will allow you to attach files.

Sorry, that didn't seem to work either.
There is a basketball size indention on the street side of the front cap about halfway down the window. In the bright sunlight it is very noticable.
The indention is about 4 inches using a straight edge. The other side of the cap is straight. Hope this enough info.
I am more interested in hearing from other owners with cap issues/results. Thanks

I'm not sure about the exact model but others were having the same issue. First River was fixing it by stuffing Styrofoam behind that area to support it. So do searching on here, you'll find it.

I had what I considered to be a major dent in the cap of our rv. I bought out of state, most dealers around here didn't want to look at it or wanted me to leave it for them to look at whenever they had the chance. I ended up fixing it myself after reviewing the repair videos , the hardest part was opening up the cap at the roofline. A hair drier and plastic putty knife was a big help to get most of the old caulk off. I used 2 - 4'x8' sheets of 1/2" styrofoam cut up into 1'x2' pieces stuffing the void with all I could. When I closed it up I put down a strip of dbl back eternabond tape, a bunch of new ss screws a couple of tubes of Geocel proflex caulk topping it off with a strip of 6" wide of eternabond tape. Took me 1-1/2 days, maybe 8 hrs to complete. 16 months later all is well, no dents and no leaks. Best of all I didn't have to wait months for the use of our then new RV. You can see the pictures in my album.

There is a FIX

SamIAM , Rockwood has a fix for your problem. The dent is at the top in the
middle part of the front cap. Several Rockwoods & Flagstaff Fifth wheel had the same problem I believe you (without seeing pictures) Have. At the rally last August several front caps were modified to correct the problem which consist of taking the front cap loose across the top and placing bocks of Styrofoam inside the front cap to hold it in place. I suggest you contact the Rockwood factory warranty department about your problem. It will be taken care of I'm sure.
