LOVE Forest River Customer Service!

I called our local dealer to ask them what kind of generator we needed to get for our 2008 Cherokee 27BH, and they pretty much had no clue. I called Forest River and left a phone message, and got a call back within 15 min.! They were very nice, and for those of you with an air conditioner that's at 13,500 BTU (like ours is), they recommended a 3500 model if we were running JUST AIR. Our model comes with a full-size electric-only Frigidaire refrigerator, so we really need at least a 5000. They also recommended that I contact Onan for further clarification (there # is 574-262-4611). Again, FR was GREAT to deal with, and I even got to whine about my icky Concertone system (there was a big sigh on the other end of the phone at that phone..LOL)

I believe that you will find that each coach line has its own warranty department but here is the contact at the All American/XLR warranty department I am sure that they can provide the correct contact for your vehicle:

We are in the process of trying to get warranty work done on our Cherokee Wolfpack. The floor in the garage unit has given way in the rear right corner. The dealer we purchased from is worse than useless and in a month has yet to touch our unit other than take photos of tiny cracks in the fibreglass by the fridge vent. Yes, a completely different issue and one we didn't think as serious as the floor. I can't tell you how long I searched the web, their website and our assorted paperwork for any email addy for Forest River. To this day I don't have one.

We phoned the Forest River head office, got an automated service and left a message. They returned the call next day and they were very helpful. I got transferred to the man in charge of all of the eastern U.S. and Canada - Cherokee Division - Dale Brewbaker (not sure if I've spelled that correctly). Left a message there to. Needless to say with that size of an area, he must be brutally busy. He did get back to me the next day and promised to get after the dealership we are having issues with but have not heard anything else.

We love our unit but the dealers would more correctly be called stealers, they are only interested in sales, NOT keeping their customers looked after. Very, very unhappy with service.

For those with issues... use the phone. In my experience it's the only way to contact them.

Thanks very much for posting those contact numbers.

My husband called the dealer today and they said they just got approval last Friday to do our work. Imagine that!? I'd just talked to Mr. Brewbaker (sp?) on Thursday and he'd said he'd get right to the dealership. Sounds like he did. Time will tell. I plan on driving up there this week and personally checking whether they've actually touched the unit or not.

I've had my fill and more of Dwyer Hill RV service.

Update on Service

Further to our floor issue, it appears the problem has stemmed from an error in building the unit. It's a 2006. Dwyer Hill ripped the floor out of it, the stringers have rotted out from water getting in, as well as the side wall de-laminating. Forest River has said they will cover the cost of repairs but the only place they can do it is back at the factory in Indiana. I was pretty much beside myself, thinking of having to take a trip to Indiana (15 hour drive or so each way) to get repairs done. Silly me, we actually have to make two trips. They can't repair it overnight, or even in a couple days, and they won't cover the cost of getting it there, or back. They tell us the entire body has to be lifted off to replace the floor stringers and supports, which I believe. Has anyone else run into this? There is no choice, it HAS to be repaired. I am so glad we purchased the extra warranty, otherwise we'd have a trailer falling apart and no recourse... I just can't believe a 3 year old trailer would have a totally rotted out floor. My outside deck at the house is over 17 years old and we have yet to replace anything. I don't get it.
